What’s Included in your build?

Our tops are crafted using tightbond III wood glue while pin nailing the staggered butt ends. The edge is then styled to your choice of a chamfer, cove, round over, or router bit style of your choice. We then sand your top down to 220 grit while filling any voids, cracks, or defects with black epoxy & walnut wood filler. We use lumber that has these defects because of the beautiful character that comes with that grade of lumber.

Quality is not compromised, just a much prettier end finished product. High grade, clear lumber is always available as well if the customer is going for a more consistent grain pattern. Your top is then finished with our preferred and recommended Rubio monocrat oil finish. Other finishes are available at the customer's request and priced accordingly. 48 hours after the first finish of Rubio monocoat oil is applied, your top is then lightly sanded down with 320 grit, and a 2nd coat of Rubio monocoat oil is applied. This fills all pores consistently, leaving a beautiful matte finish similar to mineral oil, but much superior protection. Rubio monocoat seals against moisture, has high scratch resistance, and is food grade safe with zero VOC (fumes), making it one of the leading finishes available today.
